Mink Tree Consulting offers professional tree management plans, insect and disease diagnosis and treatment, tree risk assessments, climbing assessments, inventory and appraisals using highly specialized technologies and evidence-based decision-making practices.
Management Plans
A written document that describes the current conditions of landscape trees and details actions to be taken on each managed tree. This document can be provided to other tree service contractors that perform tree work. The benefit of a Management Plan written by a third party is that the recommendations reflect what is best for the client and the tree, not what is most lucrative for a contractor.
Pest Control
A wide variety of insects and disease affect Southern California trees. These pests can lead to a wide variety of problems, ranging from minor nuisances to major risks. My services can be scheduled as:

(1) one-off treatments for acute pest problems, or
​
(2) a regularly scheduled preventative maintenance program tailored to your property.

Ancillary Services
In some cases, more in-depth analysis is necessary to provide for optimum management. I am trained/qualified to provide the following:

Tree Risk Assessment: a formal process that documents risks present from a tree and offers suggestions to mitigate those risks. I hold the ISA's Tree Risk Assessment Qualification

Inventory: On properties with many trees, a digital inventory of tree location, conditions, and needs improves management success
​
Climbing assessment: While a ground level inspections usually provides enough information, it is sometimes necessary for me to get a closer look at trees via climbing
​
Appraisal: Whether through acts of nature or accidental or willful damage from a neighbor, having a dollar value on a tree can be helpful in court or insurance claims. I utilize the latest (10th) Edition of the Guide for Plant Appraisal to value a tree.
